For the things you do endear you to me.

And now we roll around to the winter months. This past winter was especially fun, as we didn't get quite as much snow out of the mountains as the year before but we certainly got enough snow to enjoy ourselves. There was sledding and snowmen and all kinds of fun. On a side note, I don't think any kid is as cute as when they're all bundled up in adorable plush snow outfits. Kills me. Julia, especially--her chuffers form the perfect complement to a rounded fleece cap.
We also got to celebrate the birthdays of both girls--a dual Chelsea and Julia fiesta. It was wonderful. Grandma (Robin) brought by one of her new baby goats to share in the happiness. Matthew and Isabel  joined us as well. So much joy brought on by these two people.
Next time I'll write a bit more prosaically and share our past Christmas with you.

So excited about the snow!

Julia and I go for it. One corner of the yard to the other.

Jack wore himself out! All the way down and then dragging it back up!

She would just lay in the sled while I dragged it back up the hill, too. Sluggard.

Making friends.

Apparently Jack liked the goat kiss.

The goat had to check out Julia's bunny, of course.

Julia, in love with a balloon at her party.

Contemplating the meaning of life.

New dresses are always welcome!

The two beautiful birthday girls.

She took her time with everything!

Everyone had a good time.

Julia even got her first bike!

The goat is making the rounds.

I always forget how old one of these girls is.

Didn't Robin make a lovely cake?
